Police in Newark are on the search for three suspects who committed an armed robbery on a street in Newark on Thursday morning.
According to police, the incident happened shortly before 12:20a a.m. in the 700 block of South 17th Street, where officers were called to investigate reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, police were told by the victim that three suspects armed with weapons approached and demanded personal possession.
The suspects took unspecified items before fleeing the scene.
According to reports, the victim did not suffer physical injuries.
