A brazen early evening armed carjacking that happened in the city's West Ward has police looking for the suspects that took a silver or grey 2008 Honda Accord with a reported NJ license plate number "R57-FKK".
The suspect (described as a black male) pointed a weapon at the victim shortly before 7:05 p.m.
There were no injuries reported.
In a separate incident, an early morning strong armed carjacking that happened in the city has police investigating.
Police responded to the area of Frelinghuysen Ave. and Meeker Ave. shortly before 2 a.m. where they began a search for the suspect that took a black 2011 Honda Accord with a reported NJ license plate number "YGF-95E".
The suspect forced the driver from the vehicle then sped off in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported.
