There are two active crime scenes underway as police investigate a shooting incident in Newark's Central Ward.
According to police, at approximately 12:20 p.m., at least two vehicles occupied by armed suspects began firing multiple rounds at each other using rifles.
Police arrived at the scene and found over a dozen shell casings near Springfield Avenue and South 6th Street.
According to police were able to locate one of the vehicles on Sayre Street with about a half dozen shell casings on the car.
There were no injuries reported and the suspects remain at-large.
