Police in Newark are on the search for suspects who held up two gas station on a busy road in Newark on Friday morning.
According to police, the first robbery was reported at approximately 10:05 a.m. on NJ-21 and 3rd Avenue where a male suspect arrived at the scene wearing a black hoodie and sagging blue jeans -with blue underwear showing- approached the attendant with a gun and announced the robbery.
Police say the suspect took an unknown amount of cash before running westbound on 3rd Avenue.
According to police, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a suspect fitting the description of the 3rd Avenue gas station robbery approached the attendant at 1285 NJ-21 armed with a gun and stole cash before fleeing the scene with an accomplice.
There were no physical injuries reported in either robbery and the suspects remain at-large.
