This morning, Jersey City Police officials are investigating a shooting incident that injured a person Sunday night.
At approximately 11:14 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the vicinity of 380 Arlington Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found a person suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to their leg. After officers canvassed the area, they determined that a vehicle had sustained damage from bullets.
Police say an unidentified armed male arrived in the area and began firing multiple times at a group of people.
The motive for the attack is under investigation.
