Paterson Police are searching for a suspect involved in a shots-fired incident that left a vehicle riddled with bullet holes early Sunday morning.
The shooting took place in the 20 block of Garrison Street, prompting multiple 911 calls from concerned residents who reported hearing numerous gunshots.
Officers arrived at the scene and secured the area, discovering a parked car that had been struck by several bullets.
A thorough search of the vehicle and surrounding neighborhood found no occupants in the car and no reported injuries.
According to preliminary details, police believe a Hispanic male dressed in dark clothing fled the scene and remains at large.
Authorities are working to determine if there was a specific target in the shooting. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
