Authorities said that a Quick Chek convenience store in Bayonne was robbed by an unidentified subject earlier on Sunday night.
At approximately 4:50 p.m., employees at the East 53rd Street location reported that an unidentified male entered the store, brandished a gun and demanded cash from an employee at the register.
Police say the masked man took over $500 from the establishment before fleeing the scene on foot.
An investigation is ongoing and no physical injuries were reported.
