There were life-threatening injuries reported in a shooting that that occurred in New Brunswick while you slept.
The early morning shooting happened in the 20's block of Jennings Court before 4:15 a.m. sending investigators to the scene where they found the victim struck multiple times by gunfire according to preliminary reports.
EMS rushed the victim to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where the extent of the victim's injuries were only reported as critical.
The Jennings Court shooting was the second shooting in a five-hour time span with the earlier shooting resulting in a fatality.

The motive for both shootings are under investigation. There were no arrests reported.
