Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Newark's South Ward.
At approximately 3:35 p.m., a ShotSpotter device activated and alerted police of a shooting in the vicinity of 46 Shanley Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found shell casings and a car struck by gunfire.
No one was inside the vehicle, and after cops searched the neighborhood, no victims were found.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
