Middlesex County authorities reported injuries in a shooting incident that occurred in New Brunswick Saturday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, gunfire rang out near Remsen Avenue and Welton Street around 11 p.m., sending officers to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, police say they found two victims struck by bullets at that location.
Police have not confirmed the extent of the victims' injuries as of 4:55 a.m.
According to police officials, the intersection was taped-off while investigators searched the area for additional victims and possible suspects.
There were no arrests reported.
