Police in Trenton are on the search for a suspect who fired shots at a male that struck the victim in the face on a street in the city on Thursday morning.
According to preliminary reports, it happened at approximately 12:49 a.m. in the vicinity of 41 South Logan Avenue.
Police say a gunman opened fire on the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and located the severely injured male then transported him to Capital Trauma Center for treatment according to police.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
