Police are on the scene investigating a shooting that occurred on the border of Irvington and Irvington a short time ago.
Multiple rounds of gunfire erupted on 20th Street and 14th Avenue at around shortly after 8:45 p.m. sending police to the scene where they found several shell casings but no victims.
A search of the area has police locate the male victim in the 500 block of South 20th Street suffering gunshot wounds to the shoulder and hand according to reports.
The victim was transported to University Hospital where his injuries were not reported as life threatening.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
