Police in Irvington are investigating a shooting that caused property damage in the township overnight.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Myrtle Avenue shortly before 9 p.m. after receiving calls of shot fired in the area according to reports.
Nearly a dozen shell casings were found upon officers' arrival to the scene.
A thorough search of the block had cops locate a window of a house struck by bullets but there were no injuries immediately reported.
Police setup a crime scene where they searched for evidence and a possible motive for the shooting.
The incident remains under investigation.
