Paterson Police are investigating a shots fired incident that caused property at a location in the city on Sunday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 330 12th Avenue to investigate reports of shots fired that rang out at approximately 11:45 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after officers checked the area, there were no victims found.
Police canvassing the area noticed about four shell casings and one car struck by bullets.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
