Police in Paterson are on the search for a suspect who fired a gun on a street in the city that struck a building Thursday afternoon.
According to authorities, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out at approximately 1:50 p.m. in 100 block of Rosa Parks Boulevard.
Police officers arrived at the scene found evidence that a shooting occurred, but a search of the area indicated no victims.
Police say a bullet went through a window of a building at that location.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined and the suspect remains at-large.
