Authorities are investigating early morning gunfire that erupted near the EMS Headquarters at the University Hospital.
Police converged on the Georgia King Village Housing complex just before 1 a.m. where multiple rounds of gunfire rang out in the area.
EMS units were reportedly advised to avoid the headquartersl location until the investigation was completed.
A crime scene was established in the area where police searched for evidence and a possible suspect.
There were no injuries immediately reported.
