Mercer County authorities are investigating a shooting that severely injured a person in Trenton Saturday.
The late-night shooting happened before 10:30 in the 300 block of Hill Street.
Police say units arrived on the scene and found an unidentified person suffering a life-threatening gunshot wound at that location.
The injured was administered CPR before being rushed to the regional medical center for additional treatment.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting at this time.
