There were no injuries reported in a shots fired incident that erupted on a street in Newark on Tuesday evening.
According to police, reports of shots fired sent police to the vicinity of 1st Street and 4th Street at approximately 6:45 p.m. where officers arrived an found evidence that a shooting occurred, but after a search of the area, units did not found victims.
Police set up a crime scene after the found ballistics in the area.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
