There were no injuries reported in an early morning shooting that erupted in Newark Saturday.
Police said gunfire rang out in the vicinity of 80 South 13th Street around 1:35 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found several shell casings, but no victims were located after cops searched the area.
According to police, the male suspect fired at unknown individuals in the neighborhood before fleeing the scene.
Police are now on the search for the suspect and potential victims involved in the shooting.
Authorities released no motive for the shooting at this time.
