Police reported no injuries in a shots fired incident in Jersey City Monday morning.
At approximately 2:10 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting near 69 Dales Avenue.
Several units canvassing the scene located shell casings, but shell casings were found after they searched the neighborhood.
Police requested hospitals in the region to be on alert for potential walk-in gunshot victims, but as of 4 a.m., no injuries were reported.
Authorities say they are looking for 3-4 suspects who wore dark clothing and are responsible for the shooting.
The incident is under investigation.
