Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in a Newark neighborhood Tuesday night.
At approximately 10 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of 39 Cranes Street.
When officers arrived, they found over a half dozen shell casings, but a search of the area indicated no victims.
Authorities said a ShotSpotter device activated and alerted police of the shooting.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
