An armed man fired several shots at unknown targets on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark Friday evening.
It happened near the intersection of Bloomfield Place around 6 p.m.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting and then arrived to find the casings.
No one was injured in the shooting, and the motive is under investigation.
