A fight that broke out in a residential neighborhood in Irvington had police and EMS on the scene after gunfire erupted during the incident.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the intersection of Breakenridge Terrace and Grove Street shortly after 12:30 p.m. where arriving units located multiple shell casings at that location.
There were no serious injuries immediately reported. Police detained one person.
There is an active crime scene established and an investigation underway.
