Authorities in Newark are investigating a shooting incident that occurred near a cemetery in the city Sunday morning.
Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 11th Avenue and South 12th Street side of Fairmont Cemetery around 2:50 a.m.
Arriving units found multiple shell casings near 133 11th Avenue during their search of the area.
The suspect who fired the shots fled the scene and is at large.
No injuries were reported.
