Hudson County authorities are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred Tuesday night in a Jersey City neighborhood.
A ShotSpotter device alerted police to gunfire on Oak Street shortly before 9:15 p.m., prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.
Upon arrival, officers discovered shell casings and a firearm at the scene.
After canvassing the area, no injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to identify and locate the individual responsible for the incident.
