A 26-year-old Greenwich Township woman was arrested after spitting and kicking a volunteer EMS worker who responded to assist her with a laceration.
According to police, on Monday Perryville troopers and Pattenburg Volunteer EMS responded to a Bloomsbury Borough residence to assist a woman - later identified as Brittany Berger - who sustained a laceration.
As a volunteer EMS worker tried to provide treatment, Berger spit on the victim’s face and then kicked him.
She was immediately taken into custody and then transported to Hunterdon Medical Center for treatment.
Berger was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. She was lodged at the Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of $5,000 full cash bail.
