Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a bank robber that held up a local bank in Glen Rock this morning.
The bank robbery was reported at the Glen Rock Savings Bank on Rock Road in Glen Rock shortly before10:30 a.m., according to police.
Authorities released surveillance photos of the robber, who officials say made off more than $100,000 from the Glen Rock Savings Bank.
Authorities said the armed suspect pointed a gun at teller but thankfully no one was injured.
The suspect is described as 5’7” and medium build. The suspect was last seen wearing a red wig, sunglasses, black gloves, black coat, white boots and a large purse, according to officials.
Police traced the scent of the robber to a nearby parking lot on Rodney Street. Police believe a getaway vehicle may have been involved. A handgun was recover, added police.
