The Glassboro Police Department cordially invites the community to attend a charity softball.
The Wounded Warrior Amputee softball games will be held on Apr. 14th at 8 a.m. at the Glassboro Park and Recreation Softball Field, located on South Delsea Drive Park.
First, the local first responders will compete against each other. Then, at 11 a.m., they will take on the Wounded Warriors!
There will be food trucks, fun family activities, as well as various ways to donate to this fantastic charity.
The Paws Healing Heroes charity, part of the Griffin Gives Foundation, will be collecting donations to help fund their goal of providing service dogs to combat veterans. Not only are they helping the wounded heroes returning from service, but they also try to get most of their service dogs from shelters - rescuing them from an unlikely future!
