Funeral services for the 11-year-old boy killed in the November house explosion on Magnolia Avenue have been announced.
A funeral for Tyquan Henderson is scheduled for Friday (Feb. 5) at 12 p.m. at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Newark.
Visitors are welcome to join the family at the church, located at 283 South Orange Avenue, from 11 a.m. until the service begins.
Tyquan was one of four killed in the reportedly gas fed explosion on November 11, 2015. After more than two months in critical condition at St. Barnabas Hospital, Henderson was pronounced dead Jan. 26.
Two of Tyquan’s sibling – Tavasha Henderson and Kimiyha Henderson – also succumbed to their injuries on Jan. 5 and Dec. 3, respectfully.
The fourth victim, Femi Brown, 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.
