Residents across Newark are waking up to a chilly start on this Friday, with temperatures hovering around 48 degrees.Meanwhile, parts of North Jersey, including Sussex, Morris, and Warren counties, are experiencing even frostier conditions at 37 degrees, with frost covering vehicles and windows as the business week comes to a close.
For those heading out early, it’s definitely a morning for heavier fall jackets.
However, according to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to warm up as the day progresses, allowing for lighter layers by the afternoon.
The forecast calls for sunny skies with a high near 69 degrees, accompanied by a west wind of 5 to 9 mph.Tonight, expect mostly clear skies and a low of around 56 degrees, making it a cool but pleasant evening.
