Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to a frigid Thursday morning, with temperatures at a cold 25 degrees.
While the winds have subsided, it remains brisk, and bundling up in layers is essential for anyone heading out early. Parents, be sure to get the kids bundled up for the day ahead.
According to the National Weather Service, there’s a 30% chance of snow showers later this afternoon, mainly after 4 p.m., as the day progresses with increasing cloud cover.
High temperatures will hover around 32 degrees, keeping the winter chill firmly in place.
Tonight, snow showers may linger until around 1 a.m., followed by gradual clearing as temperatures drop to a low of 26 degrees.
