Newark

By: Richard L. Smith

Urban Exposure Lacrosse will host a clinic at Weequahic Park as a part of USA Lacrosse's National Celebrate Lacrosse Week, officials told RLS Media.

The clinic will be a "Pick Up & Play" event, where children can learn about the first team sport played in North America and receive a free lacrosse pinnie.

According to Urban Exposure Lacrosse, the event is for youth 14 years old and younger.

It will be facilitated by a host of coaches and players from the Newark East Side lacrosse team, Urban Exposure Lacrosse staff, and volunteers from surrounding programs.
