According to State Police Sergeant Curry, at approximately 3:06 p.m. this afternoon, troopers responded to the DreamWorks Waterpark for the report of patrons injured by a decorative prop that had fallen from the ceiling.
Sergeant Curry said that based on preliminary information, the police learned that a decorative helicopter structure suspended from the ceiling became detached and fell into a pool below.
As a result, four patrons sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Sergeant Curry said three victims were treated for minor injuries and departed the waterpark.
The fourth was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police say the waterpark was immediately evacuated of all guests.
The investigation is active andongoing.
