Four Arrested in Separate Newark Armed Robbery

Police apprehended four suspects and charged them with robberies that occurred in the city.

Detectives arrested Azrael Reid on June 9th, a day after she and two accomplices robbed a woman in the 700 block of South 18th Street.

A second suspect, Keyonna Holloway, 26 of Newark, was arrested yesterday afternoon. Both Reid and Holloway were charged with Aggravated Assault and Conspiracy.

Major Crimes Detectives arrested Timiah Lacy, 20, of Newark on June 14 for possession of stolen items taken from a teenager earlier that day. Lacy was charged with receiving Stolen Property.

This morning, police arrested 31-year-old Newark resident, Lafael Reid for robbing a person on June 8th of this year. In addition to Robbery, he was charged with Aggravated Assault and Conspiracy for the robbery.

Cops also arrested Newark resident, Desmond Edwards, 28, for a robbery committed on June 14th. Edwards was charged with Robbery, Possession of a gun, and Unlawful Possession of a gun for the robbery.
