Police in Newark announced that their partnership with the New Jersey State Police Crime Suppression Unit lead to arrests for extensive narcotics and firearm offenses.
Police say, Mr. Tony Toney of Newark, Christopher Rodriguez of Newark, Mr. Timothy Finkley of Bloomfield, and Mr. Harold Finkley of Maplewood were taken into custody as a result of this investigation.
According to police, on Wednesday, members of the joint task force executed simultaneous search warrants at 402 Chadwick Avenue Newark, and 1877 Springfield Avenue Maplewood, after a widespread investigation.
The subsequent search resulted in the seizure of the following:
Walther P99 .40 caliber loaded handgun;
1500 decks of heroin;
450 gr of cocaine;
225 gr of crack cocaine;
246 gr of fentanyl;
65 gr of raw heroin;
Various drug packing material and paraphernalia, and; $34,383 in US currency.
“I applaud the ongoing and effective partnership that we have with the New Jersey State Police in reaching this and many other remarkable outcomes,” Director Ambrose said.
These charges are merely accusations.
Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
