A Newark resident seeks the community's help in locating the owner of a dog found in a section of the city's West Ward on Sunday evening.
The miniature Doberman was located by the good samaritan in the vicinity of Central Avenue and 9th Street around 7 p.m.
There is a 24-hour convenience store at that location and residents in the immediate area said the dog has been seen lingering for several days.
The good samaritan told our Metro Morning crew that the friendly pup has been fed, washed and has gotten a good night's rest while in her care.
