Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Andrew Freedman, 52, of Fort Lee, on charges of possession and distribution of explicit images of minors.
According to Prosecutor Musella, on Thursday, September 16, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Freedman's residence during a months-long Internet investigation.
The investigation revealed that Freedman used the Internet to view, download, possess and distribute multiple digital files explicit images of minors.
As a result of the investigation, Freedman was arrested on Thursday, September 16, in Paramus and charged with distribution of explicit images of minors and possession of explicit images of minors.
Freedman was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
