17-Year-Old Newark native Ms. Leah Jenea Gaines is currently competing on Fox’s music competition series, THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM.
According to officials, Leah secured her seat as a finalist on Thursday night’s episode and is now preparing herself to move on to the next round.

According to officials, Leah is a recent graduate of KIPP Newark Collegiate Academy high school where she was active in the school choir and recently performed in front of a packed audience at NJPAC as part of KIPP’s Be the Change gala.
Officials say Leah has performed in front of audiences since the age of 9 and was featured on Amateur Night at the Apollo where she won first place three times in a row.
Eight-time Grammy® Award-winning hosts THE FOUR, multi-Platinum solo artist Fergie, and Grammy® Award-winning musician, record producer and songwriter Sean “Diddy” Combs, record-producing hitmaker DJ Khaled, and Grammy-winning recording artist and songwriter Meghan Trainor make up the panel of experts.
