Fire officials in Newark are reporting that members of the Newark Fire Division located an injured man at a fire that broke out at 225 Hunterdon Street Saturday.
Officials say at approximately 12:20 p.m., firefighters responded to the fire on the 3rd floor of the five-story brick building.
EMS transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital for treatment according to officials.
There were no other injuries reported, but officials say two adults and three children were relocated as a result of this incident.
The fire was considered under control at 12:32 p.m.
The cause and origin of this fire is under investigation by member of the Newark Fire Division’s Arson Unit.
