Elizabeth firefighters made fast work out of a fire that ignited inside a garage in the city on Wednesday evening.
According to fire officials, fire broke out inside a garage of a two-story building located in the 300 block of Bond Street just before 10 p.m.
Crews arrived at the scene and began stretching lines to beat down the flames before it extended to the upper floors of the home.
The blaze was extinguished in under a half-hour with no serious injuries reported.
Elizabeth fire officials will investigate the cause of the fire.
