Firefighters battled a three-alarm fire that erupted inside a house in Wallington early Wednesday morning.
Heavy fire ignited a two and a half story wood framed house located in the 90's block of Lester Street at approximately 10:10 p.m. sending firefighters to the scene where crews observed flames tearing through the house according to reports.
Fire officials struck several alarms as flames began to extend to neighboring homes.
Crews were able to knock down the flames in under an hour with no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
