A raging three-alarm house fire in Kearny has firefighters on the scene at this time.

Fire broke out in the 600 block of Elm Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. sending firefighters to the scene where they observed a fully involved fire upon their arrival.

Thick smoke and heavy fire engulfed the upper level of the three-story house forcing firefighters to attack from the exterior.
There are no immediate reports of injuries at this time.
UPDATE 11:15 p.m. The fire has been placed under control. EMS to transport an adult and a child to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
