Firefighters are on the scene of a three-alarm fire that ignited inside an apartment of a six-story building in the 300 block of Elmora Avenue a short time ago.
Reports of a fire that ignited inside the building located at 321 Elmora Avenue sent crews to the scene where they observed smoke coming from the third floor of the building with several occupants out on the fire escape shortly before 1:45 p.m.
Crews were able to knock the flames down that was isolated to the apartment according to preliminary reports.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control a little after 2 p.m. with a firefighter suffering an unknown injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
