Once on the scene, Elizabeth fire officials immediately struck a third alarm for manpower after flames began extending to homes on the left and right sides.
Multiple lines were stretched as firefighters initiated an exterior attack on the burning structure.
Officials said the fire reached up to 5-alarms and destroyed three houses with two roof collapses.
There are no injuries reported at this time and several residents were displaced.
