A raging two-alarm house fire had police in the city's North Ward early this morning.
Heavy fire ripped through the roof of a three-story house located in the 100 block of 4th Avenue shortly before 6:30 a.m. sending firefighters so the scene where crews began extinguishing the blaze that began to cause severe damage to the home.

Firefighters were able to make their ways inside the house where they began the interior attack while they searched for trapped and injured occupants.
The fire was brought under control in about an hour with no injuries reported.
About a dozen residents were provided temporary shelter.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
