There were no serious injuries reported in an overnight fire that destroyed a house in Irvington overnight.
Heavy fire ripped through a two and a half story home located in the 20's block of Coit Street sending firefighters to the scene at around two a.m.
Arriving crews noticed smoke and flames coming from the basement of the house.
The fire quickly spread up the walls then through the roof of the structure forcing firefighters to initiate an exterior attack.
Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control at around 3:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
