Linden firefighters arrived to a fully engulfed home early this morning on Orchard Terrace.
Crews were dispatched to the 1200 block of Orchard Terrace at approximately 6:30 a.m. for a report of heavy smoke condition at that residence.
Upon Arrival firefighters were met with heavy smoke and fire, they immediately started an interior attack but were quickly pushed out when the fire grew.
A firefighter was transported to St. Barnabas for a minor burn injury.
The home, which was under renovation, was unoccupied at the time. However, two cats were lost in the fire.
Mutual aid from area municipalities responded for cover.
The fire remains under investigation.
