A Newark firefighter battling an early morning fire was rushed to the hospital with injuries.
According to authorities, firefighters responded to Pacific Street shortly after 6:30 a.m. for a fire in a three-story building.
Officials say the firefighter fell off the roof and was transported to an area hospital suffering a broken foot.
There were no other injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation
