There were no injuries reported in raging house fire that tore through a home in Union last night.
Fire broke out inside the residence at 871 Chelsea Terrace, at the corner of Foxwood Road, at around 8:35 p.m. sending firefighters to the scene where crews immediate requested mutual assistance after they observed smoke and flames coming from the upper levels of the structure.
Fiefighters from Elizabeth, Hillside, and Rosellle Park were among dozens assisting in beating flames to bring the blaze under control in about an hour.
A search of the house had no injured or trapped occupants inside.
There were about a half dozen residents displaced according to initial reports.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
