Firefighters in Newark battled an early morning fire that tore through an old factory in the city's Central Ward on Tuesday.
Heavy fire tore through the site of the Clinton Milk Company located in the 300 block of Mossi Avenue shortly before 6:50 a.m. sending firefighters to the scene to battle the fire.
When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the 3-story vacant warehouse with extensions throughout the warehouse structure.
Crews stretched several lines to get the blaze under control in just under an hour.
Firefighters searched the structure for trapped and injured occupants, which came back negative.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
